SQLBits - Community Conference Date: Saturday 01 March 2008 Topic: THIRD PARTY EVENT Overview: When? SQLBits will be holding its next Free community conference on the 1st March 2008 Where? We will be again sponsored by Microsoft but we will be holding the conference at Aston University Lakeside Conference Centre. The conference centre is a custom built in the heart of Birmingham and increases our capacity to 440. The venue is easily accessible off the M6 and is walking distance from Birmingham New Street station. This opens up the conference to more of the UK. The layout and size of rooms will also enable us to reduce congestion for popular sessions and provide more room during the breaks. What? We will be having 20 sessions again covering everything from spatial data types, to index plans, to data mining. The exact agenda will be decided by you the people attending. Sessions have now been submitted and its up to you to vote on the sessions you want to see on the day. Once you register on the site you will be able to vote for your preferred sessions.
